This privacy policy describes the personal information  collected, received, stored, used, disclosed or otherwise processed when you interact with Stanley 1913 India through its website, digital experience, mobile app, retail stores, customer service channels, online or offline events, or interact with one of our other products or services, all of which are part of Stanley 1913 India’s Platform (“Platform”). It also explains how your personal information is used, shared, retained and protected, what choices you have related to your personal information, and how you can contact us.

We are Bhaane Retail Private Limited (“Stanley 1913 India”) having our registered office at at F 88, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase I, New Delhi – 110 020, India. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. We process personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, to the extent applicable and effective from time to time, and other applicable laws and regulations governing privacy and data protection. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, disclose, retain and otherwise process your personal data and the rights available to you in relation to such processing. Where required under applicable law, we will obtain your consent before processing your personal data. Where processing is permitted on another lawful basis under applicable law, such processing may be undertaken without obtaining consent.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT, WHEN, AND FROM WHAT SOURCES?
Certain personal information is provided by you when you interact with our Platform, interact with a customer service centre, or request information from us, attend Stanley 1913 India events or visit retail stores, sign up to receive special offers and updates, or otherwise request products or services from us. Depending on how you interact with us, the categories of personal data we may collect include :
•    Contact details including your name, address, telephone number, and email.
•    Personal details including gender, date of birth, and purchase history.
•    Login and account information, including screen name, password, and unique user ID.
•    Billing and payment data,; or
•    Where payments are made through third-party payment service providers, payment credentials and card information may be collected and processed directly by such payment service providers in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy policies. We do not ordinarily retain full payment card details unless required and permitted by applicable law.
•    Personal preferences including wish list and marketing preferences.
•    By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive transactional and promotional messages via SMS, RCS & Whatsapp from us. Message and data rates may apply.

When you visit our Platform, certain information may be collected automatically, as further described below in the section titled “Cookies and Pixels,” including:

•    technical data, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, unique cookie identifier, cookie information, your login information, browser type and version, unique device identifier and device type, country and time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform; and
•    data about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction data (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs) and methods used to browse away from the page.

KIDS
Our Platform is not intended to be used by children. We do not knowingly process personal data of children except where such processing is permitted by applicable law and, where required, after obtaining verifiable consent of the parent or lawful guardian.For the purposes of applicable Indian data protection law, a “child” means an individual who has not completed eighteen years of age. Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate measures for obtaining and verifying parental or lawful guardian consent before processing the personal data of a child.We will not knowingly undertake processing of personal data of children in a manner prohibited by applicable law, including tracking or behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children where prohibited.

 WHY AND HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We collect and use your personal information to:
•    Provide the features of the Platform, and services you request.
•    Communicate information about our products, services, events, and for other promotional purposes, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirementsOperate, improve, and maintain our business, products, and services.
•    Protect our or others' rights, property, or safety.
•    Communicate with you about your purchase.
•    Administer any orders that you have placed with us and process payments.
•    Register and manage your account(s) or membership with us.
•    Run and help us coordinate and communicate with you about promotional events and activations.
•    Respond to any queries or provide you with information, products, or services that you request.
•    Manage our accounts and records.
•    Administer our Platform and help improve our products and services.
•    Prevent, detect, or investigate fraud, including fraudulent purchases, abuse, illegal use, or violations of our Terms of Use relating to use of our Platform.
•    Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered between you and us.
•    Conduct research and analysis to understand consumer behaviour and preferences, in accordance with applicable law, and, where required, with your consent
•    Send marketing communications about Stanley 1913 India products, services, special offers, events, or other promotions that you have consented to receive. You can opt-out at any time after you have given your consent.
•    Personalize your Platform experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you or our consumers in general are most interested to learn about, including to provide you with tailored advertisements and emails; and
•    Comply with applicable law, regulations, and court orders.

We may also process personal data where necessary for purposes expressly permitted as “legitimate uses” or otherwise authorised under applicable law, including for compliance with legal obligations, provision of requested services, prevention or detection of fraud or unlawful activity, and other purposes permitted under applicable law.
Please note that we also link personal information submitted by you on our Platform with other personal information about you that Stanley 1913 India may have obtained via other means, such as personal information collected during a visit to one of our stores or events.

SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Stanley 1913 India may  disclosed or otherwise make available personal data to the following categories of recipients where necessary and as permitted by law:
a)    Stanley 1913 India entities and affiliates for the purposes outlined above;
b)    service providers, vendors, contractors and other data processors who provide services to us, including payment processing, logistics and delivery, technology and hosting, customer support, marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, IT security and other business support services;
c)    government authorities, regulators, law enforcement agencies, courts or other persons where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law;
d)    other persons where necessary to protect our rights, property, safety, users or the public, or to prevent, detect or investigate fraud, unlawful activity, counterfeiting, abuse or other misuse of the Platform;
Other entities where you have provided your consent. We may also transfer personal information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of reorganization, spin-off, dissolution, or liquidation). We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use a variety of technical and organizational security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Despite our efforts, no website, mobile application, database, or system is completely secure or “hack proof”. You can help keep your data safe by taking reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorized disclosure or misuse.

RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information will be retained for as long as is necessary to carry out the purposes set out in this policy (unless otherwise required by law). In general, this means that we will keep your personal information for as long as you keep your Stanley 1913 India account, but we may keep your order history longer to comply with legal obligations. To delete your account or account information, please contact Consumer Services or check your account settings.

MANAGING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
If you submit photos or other User Generated Content for reviews, communities, or other features, please be aware that this data may be posted publicly. You can request removal of your posted User Generated Content on the Platform, but please note that removal may not encompass all possible locations, for example, back-ups or sharing by other users initiated prior to removal.
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to:
(i) obtain information about the personal data being processed by us and certain related information;
(ii) request correction and completion of personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
(iii) request erasure of personal data where permitted under applicable law;
(iv) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
(v) exercise the right to grievance redressal; and
(vi) nominate another individual, in accordance with applicable law, to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
. We do not sell your personal data. We will not discriminate against you for the exercise of these rights. If you request to delete your account, you can create a new account on our Platform at any time.
If you have a request regarding your personal data that cannot be fulfilled from your account settings, please contact us. Contact details and reported metrics on consumer requests can be found in the “Question, Feedback and Metrics” section below. We will verify your request either through a message sent to the email address associated with your account (so you must have access to this email account) or by asking you to provide information matching what we have for you within our systems. You or your authorized agent may request to exercise your rights. Before we can act on a request from your authorized agent, we may require verification of your identity and proof from the authorized agent that they can act on your behalf.

COOKIES AND PIXELS
Stanley 1913 India collects information from your browser or device when you use our Platform, including data described as “technical data” or “data about your visit” in the first section of this policy. We use a variety of methods, such as cookies and pixel tags to collect this information. We use this information for Platform functionality, performance analysis and improvement, enabling interoperability (like social media log-in and sharing), and advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential functionality, security, analytics, personalisation and advertising purposes. Where required under applicable law, non-essential cookies and similar technologies will be deployed only after obtaining the requisite consent.

Some advertising and technology partners may also collect personal data when you use our Platform Such third parties may process personal data on our behalf or independently in accordance with their respective roles and applicable law. Where they process personal data on our behalf, we will require them to process such data only for authorised purposes and subject to appropriate contractual and security safeguardsIn some instances, our Platform allows you to log-in with or connect your Stanley 1913 India account with a third-party social media or partner account. If you do so, your use of their technology within our Platform is subject to their terms and policies.

Our Platform contains social media plug-ins. If you interact with these plug-ins, your activity on our Platform may be shared with or become accessible to the relevant social media platform, depending on how the relevant plug-in or technology operatesStanley 1913 India does not control these platforms and is not responsible for the collection and use of personal information on them or their respective privacy policies. Therefore, we encourage you to read the privacy policies of these social platforms before interacting with their plug-ins on our Platform.

Our Platform may also contain hyperlinks to websites that are not operated by us. These hyperlinks are provided for your reference and convenience only and do not imply any endorsement of the activities of such third-party websites or any association with their operators. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for how they collect, use, or share personal information. We encourage you to review any privacy policy posted on any website you visit before using the website or providing any personal information about yourself.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
Applicable law and our practices change over time. If we decide to update our privacy policy, we will post the changes on our Platform. If we materially change the way in which we process your personal information, we will provide you with prior notice, or where legally required, request your consent prior to implementing such changes.
